The em dash is more than just a typographic symbol—it's a boundary, a bridge, an invitation to rethink space and meaning. Its ability to frame ideas while leaving room for interpretation reflects what I strive for in design: a balance between structure and flexibility, clarity, and complexity.
Much like the em dash, my process navigates and integrates diverse influences—crafting designs that communicate, connect, and evolve, while leaving room for interpretation and discovery.

Inspired by the use of looms, my aim was to weave text and image as a nod to the textile practice at BMC.
By structuring the body text to occupy the outer two-thirds of the page, I created room for imagery to be interspersed within the inner folds, weaving a cohesive narrative that reflects the interconnectedness of ideas inherent to the college.
